Our ethos
eventmark
is founded on three important principles: passion,
creativity and intelligence.
Passion
generates commitment and persistence, and is the mysterious,
intangible driving force behind people's willingness to endure long
hours, hard work, frustration, stuff-ups, exploitation, loss of privacy
and occasional public humiliation, not to mention frequent outbursts of
other peoples' egos and lengthy periods of poor pay.
Most projects
are about the harnessing of passion, and only succeed to the extent that
passion is channelled into creative energy, loyalty and commitment.
Creativity
is what makes events and projects special, what sets them apart
from everyday life. It leads to the capacity to make the
most of the unexpected.
Creativity is founded on
flexibility and openness to possibilities and leads to the
development of ideas and alliances and the combination of elements that
make a project appealing, rewarding and sustainable.
Intelligence
is not about being "brainy" rather than gathering all
the necessary information to be adequately prepared. Driven by curiosity but guided by disciplined analysis,
intelligence gives the ability to adapt on the fly, manage risk factors
and provide all participants with the best
possible experience and the desire to come back and do it all again.
Lots of other
elements and qualities come into play but, at the root of all successful
projects and events, the three most essential ingredients are passion, creativity
and intelligence, in whatever combination and permutation
means the most to those involved.
