Background
The SMA Tech system was developed by Information Processing Corporation
(www.infoproc.com), a company based in Dallas, Texas
providing software development services and products since 1989.
The system underwent three years of development before being launched
to the market in 2004 and has been adopted by the YMCA in Texas.
Introduced to Australia only a few months
ago, it has already been adopted by Triathlon Australia and is being
assessed by or under current negotiations with a number of
organisations, in both sport and non-sport member-driven environments.
